In our FINAL WEEK in Lake Tahoe we went camping, had a mixed review hike in Emerald Bay and had some friends visit for a beach day. As always, we caught some great overhead shots with our drone! We also discuss our upcoming plans as we travel the world with our toddler.

BOATS & DRONES! For the last 3 weeks we've been spending our time finding family friendly hikes and beaches all around Lake Tahoe. This week we rented a boat and had some EPIC time exploring by water (& air!).
We brought our drone and what we saw from above was ridiculously good looking!!
For the last 2 weeks we've been spending our time finding family friendly hikes and beaches all around Lake Tahoe. This week we conquered the Cascade Falls Trail and hiked into a nude beach (oops!) in Nevada. Both destinations had some fun moments and AMAZING views.
We've quit our jobs and sold our house and things in search for a happier, simpler life where we can bond with our daughter, experience life, and give back to communities. Lake Tahoe is our first stop in our trip around the world and this week Liesel went on her first SUP and paddle boarded with us!. We would love if you would join us on our epic family adventure.
The last thing to do before we start our 'round the world adventure with our daughter was to drive the possessions (and cat) across the country to be stored with family. But, that's easier said than done. There were a couple mishaps along the way that could have been disastrous.
Let's recap: We've quit our career jobs. We've sold our 1st home. Now we're getting started on a journey around the world to spend more time with our daughter, develop new careers, and redefine our lives.
Today the house sale is official!!! : )
We are 2 weeks away from leaving the house, but only 3 days until Ben drives the moving truck filled with keepsakes across the country to be stored with family in Michigan!
