What was the first country you traveled to? ✈️

Welcome to #wanderwithfun 6️⃣! Over the past few weeks, we’ve shared some of the key moments that led us to travel. We’ve shared how having Liesel changed our perspective and most recently, how our trip to Hawaii in October 2017 put the wheels in motion.

By January 2018, we had a plan. We had told our families that we would be leaving our jobs, traveling for a bit, and eventually relocating to the Midwest to be closer to all of them.
⠀⠀⠀ ⠀
We took a “test run” international trip to Cabo and Liesel earned her very first passport stamp in Mexico.
⠀⠀⠀ ⠀
It was the perfect first international experience for us. We already knew Cabo pretty well from previous visits without Liesel. Throwing a baby into the mix didn’t change things too much (except we were now waking up around the time we used to go to sleep! 🤪)

The biggest highlight of the trip? Liesel taking her first steps at our condo overlooking the ocean.

The trip solidified our decision to travel full-time... now, we needed to iron out the details and make it happen! 🤔
