How did you spend your first Mother’s Day?

This was mine. We spent it doing what I loved most in California: having a picnic with a view of the Golden Gate Bridge 🌁
⠀⠀⠀ ⠀
We loved living in California. We loved the weather. We loved the outdoorsyness (is that a word? You know what I’m saying right?) 🌲 At the risk of sounding super millennial, we just loved the vibe.
⠀⠀⠀ ⠀
We spent 10 years exploring San Francisco, the Bay Area, and as much of California as we could. When Liesel showed up, she didn’t have much of a choice but to come along for the ride! 🚗
⠀⠀⠀ ⠀
The only problem with this set up was the amount of work it took to keep up with this lifestyle. We knew that the commutes, hectic schedules, and mentality of “living for the weekend” wasn’t going to be sustainable for us in the long term.

Something would have to change, we just didn’t know what it would be...
